The Mob Museum

The Museum of Organized Crime and Law Inforcement (Mob Museum for short), presents a bold and authentic view of organized crime’s impact on Las Vegas’ history and its unique imprint on America and the world. Its mission is to provide fresh insights and information, provoke debate, and dialogue and reveal the truth. The exhibits, programs and interactive experiences offer multiple perspectives and provide an engaging experience that is one part history lesson, one part cautionary tale.

Northern Light Productions worked closely once again with the curatorial team who created the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC to produce 32 media elements for the permanent exhibit, including a multi-screen exhibit and two signature films, one of which is projected on the actual brick wall from the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. The media is a key component in the visitors’ journey as they trace the storylines of organized crime in America.

“The tension between allure and disgust recurs throughout... the Mob is portrayed as weaving a web of evil but also as an object of fascination... their killing is mechanically ruthless, as the spinning fruit on one-arm bandits: they are still the gods of Vegas.”
